A wine of absolutely stunning precision and character. It is very reflective of its volcanic territory; with a fine, smoky intensity. Bright redcurrant, dried rose petal and crab-apple notes accompany subtle earthy and herbal scents. This savoury complexity is supported by fine, chewy tannins and textbook cherry juiciness. This is a serious wine which demands food and will undoubtedly go the distance and be capable of ageing for several years. A terrific release from Pietradolce.
