The grapes for the Nerello Mascalese 'Terre di Elio' come from vines that are on average 35 years old, grafted onto the oldest nerello mascalese 'mother plants' from Feudo Montoni. This gives the grapes a characteristic and distinctive taste. In addition, the wine is aged on cement for 18 months, making it a light, but very concentrated wine with aromas of mint, lemon and bay leaves, along with scents of rose petals and lily.
Delicious wine in combination with beef, lamb or pasta dishes with tomato sauce.
