Arneis translates as little rascal in the local Piemontese dialect, because it’s a notoriously difficult grape to grow. It is Piemonte's hidden white gem, & this a perfect example of why it’s worth putting the effort in. Think Gavi with more flavour..!!
Aged for 6 months on its lees and an additional 2 months in bottle to add complexity, Pelassa are one of the few producers making top notch Arneis and are swiftly gaining a reputation amongst Piedmonte's best, winning awards and generating interest around the world.
Delicate and complex nose of apricot and citrus fruits with a floral scent of chamomile and touch of honey. Crisp and fresh on the palate with some mineral notes.
